An Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion serves God's people by distributing

the Body and Blood of Christ within the community. Extraordinary Ministers are selected with prayerful consideration of the needs of the community and the qualifications of the individual. Preparation for this ministry includes Diocesan instruction through the Office of Liturgy, parish instruction, and commissioning in the Parish.

All ministers must be commissioned through the Diocese of Orlando.
